iPad Users - Take Screen Shots in a SNAP!January 2012
Many of our iPad users have asked about ways to conveniently store information like specific web pages, recipes, notes, etc. for future reference. There is always the option to bookmark web pages and, for most situations, this is sufficient. And notes and documents can always be saved and accessed at a later time. But we’ve all experienced a situation where a web page is moved, or a saved note or bookmark gets accidentally deleted. Well, there is another way. Take a screen shot!
To take a screen shot on the iPad or iPad 2, simply hold down the power button and home button at the same time for one second, then release. The device will make the default camera noise and the picture of the screen will be stored in your photos folder which can then be referenced, emailed, etc. at a future time. Talk about convenience!
